The Unit Foundation was created on the occasion of our wedding in October 2006.  In lieu of wedding gifts, we asked our guests to contribute to the establishment of a small fund devoted to sustainable development projects.

The Unit Foundation rests on the belief that all human beings deserve a chance to fulfill their potential.

Our focus is on helping individuals in their journey out of poverty.  Our aim is to do so in a sustainable manner, investing primarily in education.  We also aim to foster small-scale entrepreneurship by financing micro-credit based projects. 

While starting off on a very small scale, our objective is to reach out to as many individuals (or “Units”) as possible throughout the course of our lives.
